FAQ's:
Oil changes, should we go to a Quick Lube?
We do not recommend them! While up front it does seem cheaper, it doesn't provide the quality service your car needs in the long run. Their oil filters and air filters are a low-cost, low-quality part. We use OEM or better filters. We have seen many stripped oil pans, loose bolts, air filter assemblies not put back together properly, which usually cost you more money to have repaired. The Quick Lubes often recommend services and fluid exchanges that simply do not need to be done. Call us to do your oil change service. Our prices are good for the level of service you will receive, we will only sell you services you need, and we'll have your records on your car to properly track your services needed.
I have a new car, so i need to go to the dealer for service?
No! They would like you to believe that, but it's not true. We can provide service on your car from the day you drive it off the lot. Your full manufacturer's warranty stays 100% in effect. So don't let them mislead you. Bring your new car to us, a local independent service facility that cares about you and your car. If you have more questions on the subject, give us a call.
But they offer free oil changes, what do you say about that?
If you have a new Volkswagen or Audi we will provide the same free service the dealer is offering.
My "Check Engine" light just came on. Should I panic?
In most cases no, don't panic, but get your car into us as soon as your schedule alows. The computer on today's cars is continuously monitoring vital engine sensors, inputs, outputs, ignition and emission control devices. When the light comes on, it has detected a malfunction in one of these vital systems and is warning you, that the systems need to be inspected and the problem diagnosed. Feel free to give us a call if you have questions about the Check Engine Light.
How long does it typically take to repair my car?
We strive for same day service but not every situation allows that to be possible.
I got a few minor dents in the body of my car, can you fix that?
YES! minor dents, are no problem to fix but do require us to know ahead of time so we can contact our dent repair company to make sure they can do it on the day you are scheduled with us.
